Jeannie Kim is an award-winning health and lifestyle journalist and content strategist. She is currently Chief Content Officer for Samada, a start-up providing content and services for end of life. Previously, Jeannie was Executive Editor at Health, where she oversaw health and wellness content for both print and digital, as well as special projects and brand extensions for Health and TIME Health, a health content initiative from the editors of TIME, Health, and other Time Inc. brands. Her work has been recognized by the Newswomen’s Club of New York, the Skin Cancer Foundation, the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, and many other organizations.

Jeannie was formerly a Deputy Editor at Redbook and a founding editor of Twist magazine. As an editor and writer, she has contributed to print and online publications including Good Housekeeping, Women’s Health, and Match.com; she is also the author of several books for teens and tweens. She has spoken about writing, editing, and freelancing at NYU School of Journalism and Pace University, as well as for Mediabistro and the Asian American Journalists Association. She is a graduate of Harvard University and the Radcliffe Publishing Course.
